Shot Of Hope is hosted by Mickey "The Kid" English, a 20 year rock morning radio personality and show host. Mickey has worked with some of the best in radio industry, has interviewed over 1000+ celebrities, rock stars, comedians, politicians, authors , professional athletes and news makers around the U.S.. In 2007, Mickey found himself in what was a hopeless battle with addiction and that is when he found the rooms of recovery. Mickey has been a member of a fellowship since and has 11 years of experience recovering from active addiction. Nelson is a seasoned member in recovery with an extensive history straddling both fellowships before choosing the one he has dedicated his recovery to. Together, Mickey and Nelson are committed to a lifetime of recovery.. but only live it One Day At A Time. Mickey & Nelson have both been involved in speaking at various rehabilitation facilities, jails, high schools and wherever they are asked to share their experience, strength and hope.... and they hope to bring some of the many friends they have made in radio and in recovery,  to you to share their stories and give many a Shot Of Hope.
